Session TimeWednesday, 31 July 20192pm - 3:30pm
LocationTheatre 411
DescriptionIn geometric algebra, geometric primitives behave like numbers. The resulting geometric product encodes the full spectrum of geometric behavior, producing concise, polymorphous, expressive code and supporting geometric insight. Graphics developers and researchers interested in best practice in euclidean geometry are invited to come and test drive this cool new tool.
Prerequisites Acquaintance with quaternion, dual quaternion, and exterior algebras desirable but not necessary. Open mind and enthusiasm for math is more important.
Intended Audience Software developers in graphics, games, geometry, and related fields who want to learn how to think about and program in 3D more effectively.
