WELCOME MEDIA!

SIGGRAPH 2019 invites credentialed media to one of the world’s largest gatherings of researchers, artists, and practitioners of computer graphics and interactive techniques.

MEDIA REGISTRATION

When you complete the media registration form, you will be asked to select the type of organization that you will be representing at SIGGRAPH 2019. You must provide the requested supporting documentation before your request for media registration will be considered. Everyone requesting media registration must be an active contributor to or employed by a publication, news organization, or digital news outlet. Account representatives, sales executives, book authors, and engineers do not meet the criteria for media registration.

Register as Media Now

Media registration entitles you to everything included in the Full Conference pass, excluding VR Theater and receptions. Additionally, media registrants do not receive a full conference USB.

MEDIA CREDENTIAL GUIDELINES

A separate credential for use of cameras or video equipment must be obtained by completing the Audio-Visual Agreement when you receive your media badge at SIGGRAPH 2019. Please Note: Even if you have qualified for a SIGGRAPH media badge in the past, you must re-submit a media registration request for SIGGRAPH 2019. Approval in previous years does not guarantee approval for 2019.

Print Media

Includes periodicals, newspapers, weeklies, and magazines

Writers, editors, and contributors to print media must provide a business card that clearly displays your name and your publication/company, or a current masthead that clearly displays your name and your publication/company, or a link to your profile on the public website for your publication/company. They must also provide three industry-related bylined articles published within the last 12 months or a signed letter of assignment from the representing media organization.

News Wire

Includes news management services

Writers, editors, and contributors to news wire or news management services must provide a business card that clearly displays their organization’s and their name, or a current masthead that clearly displays their organization’s and their name, or a link to their profile on the media outlet’s public website. They must also provide three industry-related bylined articles published within the last 12 months or a signed letter of assignment from the representing media organization.

Broadcast Media

Includes radio and television

Broadcast media professionals must provide a business card that clearly displays their organization’s and their name, or a current masthead that clearly displays their organization’s and their name, or a link to their profile on the media outlet’s public website. They must also provide three industry-related radio or television segments aired within the last 12 months or a signed letter of assignment from the representing media organization.

Online Media & Freelance Journalists

Online media and freelance journalists must provide a business card that clearly displays their organization’s and their name, or a current masthead that clearly displays their organization’s and their name, or a link to their profile on the media outlet’s public website. They must also provide three industry-related bylined articles published within the last 12 months or a signed letter of assignment from the representing media organization.

Podcasts & Blogs

Contributors to and producers of podcasts and blogs must provide a link to the podcast or blog that contains content directly related to the industries covered at SIGGRAPH 2019. (Note: personal podcasts and blogs will not be accepted.) They must also provide three industry-related podcasts or blogs from an established media outlet published within the last 12 months or a signed letter of assignment from the representing media organization.

Analysts

Analysts must provide a business card that clearly displays their organization’s and their name or a current masthead that clearly displays their organization’s and their name. They must also supply two white papers or analytical product reviews published within the last 12 months or a signed letter of assignment from the representing media organization.

What It Entitles You To

Media registration entitles you to everything included in the Full Conference pass, excluding VR Theater and receptions. Media registrants do not receive a full conference USB. Additionally, Full Conference attendees have first option on technical program seating.

 

What It Does Not Entitle You To

Computer Animation Festival, Full Conference USB, Receptions
