Session TimeTuesday, 30 July 201910:45am - 12:15pm
DescriptionWe demonstrate audible acoustic metamaterials, assembled using pre-printed "Lego-like" bricks and used to build the acoustic equivalent of optical devices. This includes two key metamaterials: (1) an acoustic prism, used to “split” sound into its constituent notes, and (2) an auto-zoom lens, used to send sound to a moving target.
